Buzz - Potion - The potion is a True Class A FET based Compressor designed to fit the API* 500 VPR Series rack frames. The potion will suit those looking for a audio compressor with "attitude" and is particularly useful in rock, hip hop and modern music styles where a somewhat aggressive character adds to the energy of the track. Drums, electric guitars, vocals and the mix bus will all benefit from the potion's rich harmonic sound - potion - the harmonic energizer!

BUZZ - REQ2.2 - We wanted to build an audio equalizer with the sound of real passive resonant circuits (chokes and capacitors) but without sacrificing the adjustability and flexibility demanded by recording and mastering engineers.

BUZZ - SOC 1.1 - Audio compressors that use a light source to control a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) are not new, and indeed there are many classic optical compressor designs. The design goal of the SOC-1.1 was to further enhance the attributes of optical compression to provide the user with alot more functionality as well as improve the compressor response to real world audio signals. We have carefully examined the characteristics of the LDR and developed a truly unique process to control it. This process we call the Differential Drive Side Chain topology (DDSC).

Buzz - Tonic - Before modern semiconductor technology, audio filters and equalizers were made with passive components - capacitors and wound coils of wire that formed inductors (or chokes). Audio frequency chokes were bulky and expensive so these days it's easier (and cheaper) to use an electronic circuit to simulate the inductors. However, we have discovered that the difference in sound between the real thing and a simulator is quite noticable. So with the tonic equalizer we have brought you the best of both worlds, utilizing both real chokes and electronic filters in perfect harmony.

Buzz Audio- MA2.2 - The MA-2.2 has a transformerless input stage designed to minimize frequency response anomalies caused by reactive loading of the connected microphone. All gain stages utilize our own discrete transistor True Class A differential amplifiers (the BE40) to provide an amazingly wide bandwidth and fast slew rate. In fact, the internal frequency response of the MA-2.2 extends beyond 1,000,000Hz - even at full gain! (Passive filtering at the input of the MA-2.2 to limit the response to 250kHz prevents amplification of unwanted radio frequencies).
